Firstly, so sorry for not updating this website more regularly – Like everyone things are so hectic at the moment and I really don’t feel there’s enough time in the day, but that’s not really a valid excuse – I’m pretty sure everyone feels like that!
So big things are happening this year, which is both scary and exciting. We sold our house last December, just before Christmas, getting the asking price – fab! Then a few weeks ago it fell through, just as we found the most beautiful bungalow we wanted (typical) but then that fell through, but luckily we managed to find another buyer within two days of the previous one falling through, so we’re just waiting on the survey results now – so fingers and toes crossed that all is fine! We’ve looked at around twenty properties so far and can’t find anything that we like. We’ve decided to buy a property that needs a lot of work, with the intention of doing it up and moving on. We’ve decided to do this for a number of reasons, not least because we want to eventually have a family home in the Horndean area of Hampshire and quite frankly we haven’t got the budget to buy there at the moment – this way we can hopefully (and as I said, fingers and toes crossed) buy a property that needs renovating, live in it whilst we’re working on it (so not paying two mortgages/rent) sell it with some profit and move on…who knows there could be a whole new career in property developing! haha
I’m also regularly updating my YouTube channel every Wednesday so if you haven’t checked it out please do and subscribe! I upload every week at The News who I write my weekly column for also publishes the videos on their website so I feel very lucky for their support.
I hope 2016 is working out for you guys too and that it’s a good one!
